Ireland

Our trip to Ireland was almost a decade in the making before it actually happened. I’d say there’s a 50/50 shot Kate and I talked about it on our first “date”. Motivated by the knowledge we’d be having kids soon we finally pulled the trigger in the spring of 2015. Kate and I along with my brother Pat and sister in law Becca spent 10 days in a rental car bouncing from B&B to B&B making a circle from Kilkenny clockwise back around to Dublin. Then Kate and I headed North to spend the last few days in County Antrim with Kate's relatives. The Clichés are true. The greens are greener, the Guinness is creamer (Smithwicks too) and the people are friendlier . It’s hard to explain how amazing the trip was so I’ll put it this way. I gained 10 pounds in 10 days and already have an itinerary for our next trip.  We used a mix of digital and film. Enjoy!
