My Story

Mama / photographer/ designer

I'm an animal-loving vegetarian fueled by one-on-one conversations, yoga and large amounts of coffee. Seriously, coffee is life. I took my first film class at age 9, and I still shoot film on occasion (check out the "adventure" section to see a few). I've always been a creator, artist, and photographer, but went to school for commercial interior design (which I still do part time). Now a mom of two boys, life is a little more messy and chaotic and I spend most of my free time picking up toy trains off the floor and vacuuming German shepherd hair.

My goal is to document your story with honest and emotional photojournalism, with a touch of “ok, now look right at the camera” in there. I love shadows, texture, and natural light. And I actively search for those in-between moments at every session.
